The Founders
We are Caitlyn and Man. We have travelled through Southeast Asia every year, and when COVID hit, we had the opportunity to open our dream restaurant. Our goal was simple: bring the flavours of Vietnamese and Thai cuisine to our community. Since opening in 2021, it has been an incredible journey. We have been honoured with Best International Food 3 years in a row (2023, 2024, 2025) and were awarded Best Restaurant in the area in 2025.
Our Story
When the COVID-19 pandemic brought travel to a halt, we finally decided to pursue our long-time dream of opening a Thai-Vietnamese restaurant. At the time, there was nothing in our area offering truly authentic Thai-Viet food, and we saw an opportunity to share something meaningful with our community. Opening during a pandemic wasn’t easy, but thanks to the incredible support from the community we had built through our other ventures, Lucky Lotus came to life. Seeing people enjoy and support what we created has been more rewarding than we ever imagined.
